This activity was selected in the framework of the Third Annual Call for co-financing of events on topics relevant to the EU-LAC bi-regional partnership between the European Union and Latin America and the Caribbean 2020 of the EU-LAC Foundation.

The conference was organised within the framework of the project “The U.S.-China Rivalry: Implications for EU-LAC Relations” elaborated by PISM in cooperation with its Latin American think-tank partners: CARI, COMEXI, and FGV. The initiative won co-financing award from EU-LAC Foundation in 2019.

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the EU-LAC Foundation organized a cycle of five events on sustainable tourism which are open to the interested public and seek to foster bi-regional dialogue involving different actors.

The EU-LAC organises the virtual Workshop titled “Exchange on progress made and opportunities for bi-regional cooperation in research and innovation - one year after the agreement on the JIRI EU-CELAC 2021-2023 Strategic Roadmap” which took place on Tuesday, 19 October 2021.

UNDP and EU-LAC Foundation organized a virtual side event to the Seventy-sixth Session of the United Nations General Assembly, which is named “Digital and inclusive innovations to mitigate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and sustainably transform tourism in LAC and the EU" on September 28.

The EU-LAC Foundation and the Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC), co-organize the "International Euro-Latin American and Caribbean Congress - The Necessary Creation of a Euro-Latin American Cultural Space: Values, Principles and Proposals".

Under the activity, a series of talks and workshops will be held among Solatina members on 22-23 September, followed by a joint activity with COLOSS on 24 September including researchers from all over the world.
