Matrix of Higher Education

The EU-LAC Foundation has coordinated a process of collective construction the Matrix of Objectives and Strategic Lines for the Construction of the EU-LAC Common Area of Higher Education. Read more The Matrix constitutes a source of reference to visualise the diversity of cooperation initiatives aimed at turning the bi-regional Common Area of Higher Education into a reality; the areas of cooperation are very diverse and include, among others, accreditation and quality assessment systems; mutual recognition of degrees; mobility programmes; innovation and internationalisation in learning and teaching; open science; capacity building programmes; and the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in universities. The information displayed in the Matrix is submitted and regularly updated by university associations and academic organisations of regional and bi-regional nature which have actively participated in the construction process of this database. The Matrix is intended to serve as a source of information for the academic and scientific communities in both regions; persons working in the management and administration of universities; (prospective) managers of research grants and projects, academic programmes and capacity building courses and vocational trainings; governmental scientific authorities and political decision makers.
