18 November 2024On November 7th, the EU-LAC Foundation in partnership with the Université libre de Bruxelles and the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro organised the conference “Responding and Adapting to Climate Change in the European Union and Latin America and the Caribbean: Fostering Cooperation at the Interregional Level“, hosted by the United Nations University Institute on Comparative Regional Integration Studies (UNU-CRIS) in Brussels, Belgium.

Latin American and Caribbean Autumn Festival 2024 kicks off
11 September 2024The 11th edition of the Autumn Festival for Latin America and the Caribbean was officially opened on Monday, 2 September. The ceremony at Hamburg City Hall was attended by representatives of the organising institutions, members of the diplomatic and consular corps, German government authorities and academics.

International Congress of the Latin American Studies Association (LASA) hosts workshop on 'The strategic partnership between Latin America and the Caribbean and Europe one year after the summit'.
14 June 2024The workshop organized on June 14 by the EU-LAC Foundation in the framework of the LASA 2024 Congress in Bogota, Colombia, brought together European and Latin American researchers to stimulate academic debate on the agenda for the bi-regional relationship between Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, as defined by the Heads of State, one year after the EU-CELAC Summit in Brussels in 2023.
