Mission of the Executive Director of EU-LAC Foundation to France

The Executive Director of the EU-LAC Foundation, Paola Amadei is in the French capital from the 1st to 2nd of June to participate in the Conference organised annually within the framework of the strategic partnership between the EU-LAC Foundation and the Institut des Amériques (IdA), on the occasion of the Latin American and the Caribbean Week in France, with the support of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development and the European Commission.

 "The Caribbean in the strategic partnership EU-CELAC" is the theme for this year edition and is part of a series of activities dedicated to the promotion of the Caribbean that the EU-LAC Foundation has developed in 2016 and that will culminate this year, including the photographic exhibition dedicated to Jamaica, organised in the framework of Hamburg’s European Week "Out of Many, One Jamaica", the First Forum Portugal and the Caribbean and the launch of a study scheduled for the last quarter of 2017 about the Caribbean in the CELAC-EU strategic relations.

The Executive Director, Paola Amadei will participate in the entire event that will be closed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of El Salvador, CELAC pro tempore Presidency, Hugo Martínez.

The work agenda includes a meeting with the Ministry of National Education, Jean-Michel Blanquer and the Institut des Amériques, as well as with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of El Salvador.
