The strategy of taking up a position on the innovation, science and technology sector in the global market often faces multiple challenges. Ireland is aware of this reality and has launched programmes and strategies, such as the Innovation 2020, which have enabled it to become the 10th most innovative country in the world. This achievement was possible thanks to the creation of an innovative activity in the business sector, the collaboration and the partnership between companies and the academic sector as well as the commitment to international cooperation.
