On November 15 and 16, 2022, the third edition of the European Union-Latin America and the Caribbean Youth Days was held at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. This activity is part of the European Year of Youth 2022 promoted by the European Commission, which highlights the importance of European youth in building a more prosperous, sustainable and inclusive future and is therefore aligned with the initiative called "Youth Council of Latin America and the Caribbean" promoted by the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States.

The III EU-LAC Youth Days counted with the outstanding participation of young leaders from approximately 40 countries of the European Union, Latin America and the Caribbean. During these two days, the dialogue between young people from both sides of the Atlantic was resumed, with the aim of encouraging reflection on the future of EU-LAC relations and capitalize in advance of an eventual bi-regional Summit in the second half of 2023 through which their proposals and ideas can support the future of the agenda of both regions. Among the main topics addressed were challenges, opportunities and good practices related to participation and advocacy, education, employment, the fight against inequalities, social cohesion, and green and digital transitions.
