The XIII Strategic Triangle Meeting between Latin America and the Caribbean, Africa and Europe organized by Ipdal took place on May 15 and 16 in Lisbon, Portugal.

The EU-LAC Foundation co-organized a panel discussion on financing for sustainability initiatives for the Caribbean in the framework of the multiple needs generated by climate change.

Our director Adrian Bonilla was one of the keynote speakers in a high-level dialogue, as well as one of the participants in panel number VI entitled “Dissecting the EU's Global Gateway”.

The Strategic Triangle Meetings are the main platform for high-level transatlantic dialogue in Portugal, bringing together annually heads of state from Europe, Latin America and Africa, as well as representatives of international organizations, business leaders and academics. Since 2011, IPDAL has focused its discussions on South-South cooperation, positioning Portugal as a strategic hub for synergies between these three regions.
