On 20 April, the newly appointed Ambassador of Panama to the Republic of Germany, Mr Enrique Thayer, the Consul in Berlin, Ms Tania Troyano and the Consul in Hamburg, Ms Ida Cecilia del Castillo visited the office of the International EU-LAC Foundation in Hamburg to meet with the Executive Director, Dr Adrian Bonilla.
In addition to introducing themselves, they highlighted Panama's particular interest in working together with the International EU-LAC Foundation in the search for and promotion of cooperation programmes in education and science and technology. This interest was shared by Dr Adrián Bonilla, highlighting the availability of the EU-LAC Foundation to strengthen the partnership with Panama through its various instruments.
