The Lombardy Region, the EU-LAC Foundation and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs are co-organizing a seminar on 11 January 2013 in Milan, Italy. The event is entitled “The Strategic Partnership Latin America - Europe and the challenges of the globalization: SMEs as the engine of common growth” and will analyse topics related to investment between the two regions, the growth of SMEs in Latin America and the role of subnational actors in autonomous local development processes.
Among the participants will be experts, entrepreneurs, representatives of social actors and officials from both regions. Besides the representatives of the coordinators, members of ECLAC, OECD and IADB will participate in the event with their contributions.
