Social transformation with UNESCO heritage

The article focuses in the trajectory and mission of the UNESCO as the United Nations system actor in charge of the world’s cultural affairs.  It recaps the initial challenges and the success it has achieved 45 years after the adoption of the World Heritage Convention.
