From the 1th to the 9th of July the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Kassel is celebrating the Latin Week (Semana Latina) with a series of conferences, workshops and seminars with professors from different Latin American universities.
The range of issues includes the reflection about new development models in Latin America, the analysis of potentials and limits of social and labour reforms made by progressive governments in the region as well as questions about migration, identity and memory policies in the subcontinent.
The participation in all events is free.
