Presentation of the Report "Why does Latin America matter?"

A recent publication by Elcano draws the attention of the EU- meaning both the institutions of the organisation and the governments of its member states, their politicians, news media and public opinions - to the potential offered by Latin America and the various benefits the EU could derive from strenghtening biregional relations. In order to throw more light on these issues, the Elcano Royal Institute and Telefónica have organised a breakfast debate on the topic "Why does Latin America matter?", open to the public prior registration.

This event will be attended by Manfredo Manti, from the European External Action Service ; Paola Amadei, Executive Director of EU-LAC Foundation; the Ambassador of Colombia to the Kingdom of Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Sergio Jaramillo, and Carlos Malamud, coordinator of the report.

This event will be held in English. To register, please contact: events@rielcano.org
