UCL’s Institute of the Americas organises this panel with a view to discuss historiographical and methodological opportunities and challenges presented by the new field of global history, focusing on its implications for the study of Latin America in a global perspective.
The Speakers of the event will be Tanya Harmer (Associate Professor of International History, LSE); Thomas Maier (PhD student, UCL Institute of the Americas) and Juan Pablo Scarfi (Visiting Research Fellow, UCL Institute of the Americas).
