National Council of Competitivenes

The Consejo Nacional de Competitividad (CNC) is an entity of the Dominican Republic in which the private and public sectors participate. It has a mixed nature but is affiliated to the Dominican national government. The CNC was created in 2001 through an executive decree and was ratified in 2006. It´s main objective is to formulate, implement and develop competitive strategies for the productive sectors in the national economy. It aims at structuring national policy to cope with the challenges posed by globalization.
