Ministry of Education and Culture - Uruguay

Mission: The Ministry of Education and Culture is responsible for the coordination of the national education; of the promotion of the country‘s cultural development; of the preservation of artistic, historical and cultural heritage of the nation; of the innovation, science and technology and the promotion and strengthening of the protection of human rights. In addition, the Ministry is responsible of the development of the state multimedia system of communication and to forward the digital access of all the information for the population. Moreover, it is responsible of the formulation and coordination of politics regarding the judicial defense of the State interests and for ensuring the necessary information of the correct application of law.
