The Director for European Affairs of the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Theodora Gentzis and our Director Adrián Bonilla, discussed possible joint initiatives to be carried out by the Foundation in the current context of the strategic partnership between the European Union, Latin America and the Caribbean.
They agreed on the importance of the EU-LAC Foundation to promote and make visible again the relationship between both regions. Therefore, they want to be explore the possibility of working with the Egmont Institute and the College of Europe, both based in Belgium, in joint initiatives. This would also promote the strategic partnership.
