The EU-LAC Foundation had an important meeting with the Portuguese Subdirector General for Foreign Policy, Ms Ana Rocha of the Foreign Affairs Ministry to address priorities and possible initiatives for 2021 in favour of the EU-LAC bi-regional partnership, particularly in the framework of the Portuguese Presidency of the European Council.
Director Bonilla also explained that the EU-LAC Foundation works closely with the important Portuguese partners such as the Portuguese Institute for the Promotion of Latin America and the Caribbean (IPDAL), through the accompaniment of the Strategic Triangle: Latin America - Europe - Africa event, as well as through joint initiatives that promote dialogue and cooperation between Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean.
During the meeting, it was possible to exchange on additional initiatives that could be celebrated in the framework of the Portuguese Presidency of the European Council.
