Within the framework of his visit to Brussels, our Director Adrián Bonilla and the Ambassador of Mexico Mauricio Escanero, in his capacity as President of CELAC, discussed the current context of the bi-regional relationship between LAC and the EU and the importance of renewing the bi-regional relationship. They also agreed on the need to strengthen work in both political dialogue and bi-regional cooperation.
Furthermore, they discussed the progress in the organization of bi-regional initiatives that are currently underway, such as the coordination of the next EU-LAC Forum of Reflection and the Joint Initiative of Research and Innovation (JIRI)-SOM.
