Between May 16th and 18th, members of the European and Latin American Parliaments will meet in the Portuguese capital to celebrate a meeting of the Euro-Latin American Parliamentary Assembly (Eurolat) which serves, amongst others, to prepare the next plenary session of the entity in Uruguay next September.
During the gathering, issues such as the fight against organised crime and poverty, the combat against fiscal evasion and the completing of the association agreement between the European Union and MERCOSUR will also be discussed.
