The City of Hamburg is famous for its internationalisation and opening to the world's different cultures. It organises once a year the Long Night of the Consulates in which the general public has the opportunity to get to know the city's cultural diversity through cultural activities organised by the multiple consular representations and international organisations based in Hamburg.
The EU-LAC Foundation will actively participate for the fifth consecutive year in this event, hosting the representation of some of its members and showcasing the cultural diversity of the EU, Latin America and the Caribbean through several cultural activities and degustation of local products. This year the programme includes a wide range of activities organised by the Embassy of El Salvador, the Embassy of Nicaragua and the Embassy and Honorary Consulate of Guatemala. Furthermore, touristic and cultural information of Cuba will be available, provided by the Embassy of Cuba.

20.00- 20.45 Interactive Panel on Central American coffee by the Embassies of El Salvador and Nicaragua with the participation of the Honorary Consul of El Salvador, Mr Arthur Ernesto Darboven .
20:45 - 21:45 El Salvador: Documentary: "Cuatro puntos cardinales" (Four cardinal points) by director Javier Kafie, with the support of the El Salvador Embassy in Berlin (Documentary is in Spanish with English sub-titles)
Cuba: During the event information and touristic material about Cuba provided by the Embassy of Cuba in Berlin will be available
