Documentation and Library Centre of the Italo-Latin American Institute (IILA)

The Study, Documentation and Library Centre of the Italo-Latin American Institute (IILA) is engaged in outlining the phenomena that interact in the Latin American area and between it and Italy at a national level and within the European framework. The publications edited by the Centre respond to the need for methodological and conceptual updating in order to ensure a set of arguments for institutions interested in Latin America. The Library, with about 80,000 volumes, is one of the most important sources of information on Latin America in Europe. The Library is connected to specialised libraries in the field at national and international level and has been moved from the University of Rome to the University of Roma Tre. The IILA staff in charge of the Library is present from Monday to Friday, from 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m., at the Library of Economic Sciences Area of Roma Tre, Via Silvio d'Amico 77.

The consultation, room lending and interlibrary lending service is partially active for the volumes marked with ECN labels (generally pertaining to the Dewey 3 class, Social Sciences) and POL labels (generally pertaining to the Dewey 9 class, Geography, history and auxiliary disciplines).
