The Political Studies Institute of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile organises this two-day seminar on the current challenges to the State in Latin America and the rol of political and economical actors.
The seminar seeks to include the latest research on the concept of statehood, transformations in the relations State-society, sub.national politics and new patterns of representation, problems associated to the commodities boom de commodities and its socio-environmental and ilegal activities reprecussions.
