On the 28th of October, the foundation officially opened the 2020 edition of the Latin American and Caribbean Fall, which seeks to promote the visibility and knowledge of Latin America in Hamburg. Our special thanks go to the Hamburger Senat, the Consulate General of Chile in Hamburg, the Mexican Embassy in Germany, all the Consuls present and the Hamburg Planetarium for hosting the ceremony.
After the speeches, which highlighted the importance of culture and art in times of pandemic - the motto of this year's festival - the Chilean film "Astronomy on a Grand Scale" was screened. The entire event was broadcast online.
