II International Colloquium: Agricultural cities and tourism

The academic groups "Cities and Region", "City, Heritage, Tourism and Sustainability" and "Center of Valuation and Urban Studies" of the Autonomous University of Sinaloa and the Academic Group "Sustainable Architecture and Urban Managment" of the Technological Institute of Higher Studies of Cajeme invite to the "II International Colloquium: Agricultural cities and tourism".

Topic: The resilience in agricultural cities and tourism. The resilience, or capacity to overcome the risks is a new concept which emerges from the concern to identify those factors that allow the cities to overcome the difficulties and the adverse conditions, which appear in a successful way. This means the posibility to change the concept of risk factors, as an adverse situation instead of having a negative result, could become a factor contributing to improve living conditions in the urban areas.
