I Conference on European Studies

The "I Conference on European Studies", organised by the Jean Monnet Chair of the University of Havana, will take place in the Cuban capital from December 5th to 7th. The event aims to reopen the debate on European issues under the heading "Europe in transition: regional and global perspectives". The EU-LAC bilateral relationship and the EU-Cuba relationship will be discussed during the panels with the participation of national and international academics and experts.

The publication ‘Food security in the EU and Latin America and the Caribbean: The cases of Cuba and Spain’ will be presented during the I Conference on European Studies. on the 5th December from at 13:30 h. in Havana, Cuba. This publication is the result of a study financed by the EU-LAC Foundation. The presentation of the results will be carried out by the co-author Jourdy James Heredia, Deputy Director General of the Research Centre of the World Economy of Havana and a permanent member of the Jean Monnet Chair.
