With the umbrella question of this seminar being "How do we prepare for a gradual and selective exit from confinement?", the participants in this seminar discussed the issue of domestic work in the time of Covid-19.

The measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19 have visualised the value of paid and unpaid domestic work, mostly carried out by women. At the same time, the Covid-19 crisis has highlighted the vulnerability of paid domestic workers, especially with regard to the risk of contracting the disease.

In this sense, the ILO Southern Cone Office, the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security of Argentina, the Superintendence of Labour Risks of Argentina, the EU-LAC Foundation and the European Union's EUROsociAL+ Programme propose this webinar to exchange knowledge and experiences on the sectoral agreements that are being adopted in the different Southern Cone countries to preserve health and safety conditions in the gradual return to the workplace.
