The article recounts the experience of the group "Recital Colombia 2016" composed by 12 hip-hop dancers whose dedication to dance has allowed them to leave a reality of violence and exclusion and convert themselves into messengers of peace and transformation. This experience was presented in the framework of the cultural programme of the XXV Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and Government held in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia in October 2016.
