Grenada ratifies the Constitutive Agreement of the EU-LAC International Foundation

Grenada became the 28th Member to ratify the Constitutive Agreement that transforms the EU-LAC Foundation into an International Organisation, therefore being the twelfth State of CELAC and the fifth Caribbean State to do so.

Grenada thus attests its firm commitment to the strengthening of the Foundation as an instrument of the bi-regional partnership, mutual knowledge and understanding between the European Union, Latin America and the Caribbean.

Since the creation of the EU-LAC Foundation in 2010 by the Heads of State and Government of the 61 Member States of the European Union, Latin America and the Caribbean, and of the European Union itself, the Foundation will now operate as a true international organisation.

The Foundation is established in Hamburg, Germany, since 2011.
