Fondation maison des sciences de l'Homme (PREFALC)

Created by the historian Fernand Braudel in 1963 in Paris, the Fondation Maison des sciences de l'homme (FMSH) supports research and the dissemination of knowledge in the humanities and social sciences. Recognized as a public utility, it encourages innovative research, creates conditions favorable to interdisciplinary dialogue, and promotes the circulation of researchers and knowledge.
PREFALC was created in 2003 by the Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Research (MENESR), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development (MAEDI) and the Fondation Maison des Sciences de l'Homme (FMSH).
The program supports university cooperation projects between French, Latin American and Caribbean higher education institutions.
To this end, it co-finances for two years the mobility of teaching and research teams from higher education institutions wishing to carry out teaching missions at the Master's level (Master's degree).

El PREFALC fue creado en 2003 por el Ministerio de Educación Nacional, Enseñanza Superior e Investigación (MENESR, por sus siglas en francés), el Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores y Desarrollo Internacional (MAEDI) y la Fundación Casa de las Ciencias del Hombre (FMSH).
El programa apoya los proyectos de cooperación universitaria entre establecimientos de enseñanza superior franceses, latinoamericanos y caribeños. Para ello, permite cofinanciar durante dos años la movilidad de los equipos de docentesinvestigadores de los establecimientos de enseñanza superior que deseen realizar misiones de enseñanza de nivel máster (maestría).
