The First European Investment Forum in Uruguay "From Uruguay to Mercosur" is an initiative promoted and financed by the Delegation of European Union to Uruguay. The activity is co-organized with Uruguay XXI, the country´s Investment and Export Promotion Institute. The aim of the Forum is to offer specific investment and business opportunities and to generate the required conditions to materialise them.
The forum will provide to the participants unique opportunities: To obtain breaking new knowledge about the key business and concrete opportunities in Uruguay as an entry gate to the region and to develop invaluable international contacts with leader entrepreneurs, high level managers and officials and multilateral institutions as well as being part of the debate on the economic future on the region.
The Forum will count on the participation of top level authorities, agencies and companies of Uruguay and the region. The Forum´s agenda will include visits to some of the investment projects and business platforms in Uruguay: tax free zones, industrial parks and free ports, and an intense business round.
The Forum is a unique instance in which entrepreneurs from both continents will have the opportunity to create strategic alliances and do “real business” with the B2B meetings.
