The meeting of the Presiding Officers of the Regional Conference on Women in Latin America and the Caribbean, organised by the UN Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean, gathers government representatives to analyse the current achievements and challenges for public policy in the process of integrating gender perspective through mainstreaming, in the framework of international and regional agreements on gender equality and an agenda of equality and development.
