The European Ideas Network (EIN) is organizing the 13th Annual Summer University, “The European Union and the Americas – Building Bridges”, which will gather more than 200 personalities from policy-makers, opinion leaders, entrepreneurs, academics, political consultants, journalists and representatives of civil society. The event will take place on 27-29 June 2013, in Porto.
The list of speakers includes the Portuguese Prime Minister, Pedro Passos Coelho, the current Prime Minister of Spain, Mariano Rajoy, the Prime Minister of Ireland, Enda Kenny, the Prime Minister of Luxembourg and former President of the Euro Group, Jean-Claude Juncker, the former Prime Minister of Spain, José Maria Aznar, the Vice-Chairman of the EP Delegation for relations with the Mercosur countries and Member of the Delegation to the Euro-Latin American Parliamentary Assembly, Nuno Melo, and the Director of Latin America Programs of the Institute for Leadership in the Americas (ILA), Jon Perdue, among others.
