The European Commission has decided to provide a substantial financial contribution of 4.5 million Euro to the EU-LAC Foundation, in order to support its work in promoting mutual understanding between the EU and LAC regions and their people, encouraging the participation and input of civil society and other social actors, such as the academic and private sectors.
