The EU-LAC Foundation supports tribute through the project "Stolpersteine"

The EU-LAC Foundation will pay tribute to the Haymann family of Jewish origin, whose last address was the building that is currently the headquarters of the European Union-Latin America and the Caribbean Foundation (EU-LAC Foundation).

On the next Tuesday, October 24th at 11am, will take place the installation of three commemorative stones “Stolpersteine” in honour of Gertrud Ella, Ellen Ruth and Ludwig Haymman. This project, created in 1995 by the German artist Gunter Demnig, aims to pay homage to the memory of people deported to concentration camps during the National Socialism. Currently the City of Hamburg has 5,229 commemorative stones.

Place: EU-LAC Foundation, Hagedornstraße 22
