The EU-LAC Foundation signs a cooperation agreement with the Royal Institute Elcano

The Elcano Royal Institute and the EU-LAC Foundation signed a cooperation agreement that, starting today, allows the development of a mutual cooperation for the next four years.

The framework of the future collaboration between the EU-LAC Foundation and the Elcano Royal Institute will focus on relevant thematic areas for bi-regional partnership, and will lead to document exchange, diffusion of the counterpart’s activities and other activities for bi-regional cooperation to be agreed between both institutions. The Heads of State and Government of the European Union and of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) created the EU-LAC Foundation in 2010. Its members are the EU and CELAC countries and the EU itself.

The Agreement has been signed by Paola Amadei, Executive Director of the EU-LAC Foundation, and by Charles Powell, Director of the Elcano Royal Institute.
