On 16 May 2013 the EU-LAC Foundation participated in the second Long Night of the Consulates, which was organized in the framework of the “European Week” by the City of Hamburg. During the event the visitors could get an impression of the activities of the participating consulates and institutions, as well as cultural, historical, political and culinary insights into countries and regions from all over the world.
From 6 to 10p.m. 33 consulates and 6 cultural institutions, among them the EU-LAC Foundation, opened their doors and provided the visitors with a varied cultural programme: Exhibitions, panel discussions, movies and presentations.
The event gave local visitors the chance to visit the EU-LAC Foundation’s premises and get information on its activities, as well as an insight into the bi-regional relations between the European Union, Latin America and the Caribbean.
