As part of the mission, the President of the EU-LAC Foundation, together with the Coordinator of Interinstitutional Relations, Diego Durán Cruz, held a meeting with the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Petr Macinka, and Uruguay, Mario Lubetkin, as well as with ambassadors from Latin American and Caribbean countries.
This exchange provided an opportunity to share views on the potential for cooperation between both regions in the current global context, as well as on the role of the EU-LAC Foundation as a facilitator of political coordination and promoter of multi-stakeholder strategic partnerships.
In addition, the delegation held meetings with representatives from academia and the press in Prague, who expressed interest in giving greater visibility to the organisation’s work in Central Europe. These initiatives open new opportunities to strengthen the institutional presence of the EU-LAC Foundation and expand the reach of its bi-regional agenda.
The mission to Prague reaffirms the EU-LAC Foundation’s commitment to cooperation based on dialogue, mutual trust, and the joint development of solutions to global challenges, consolidating its role as a bridge between Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean.
