The Red Nacional de Apoyo Empresarial a la Protección Ambiental (ECORED), is a non-profit organization that unites the private sector of the Dominican Republic with projects in favour of a culture of sustainable development. It´s focus is on the environment and natural resources. This organization checks the commitment of private companies within its members, making sure that hey comply with environmental legislation, while also providing them with advice on how to achieve better compliance. ECORED was founded in 2006 by the name of RENAEPA, and today it features a fresher institutional image.
