Doctoral School on Latin American, European and Comparative Regionalism

The Simón Bolívar Andean University, Ecuador, and the United Nations University - Comparative and Regional Integration Studies (UN-CRIS) are organizing the Second Doctoral School on Latin American, European and Comparative Regionalism. The event will take place from 8 to 12 July 2013 in Quito, Ecuador.

The Doctoral School aims to bring together young researchers and doctoral students with leading senior academics in the field of Latin American, European and comparative regionalism in order to establish a new network of researchers dealing with this theme. Among other topics the academic experts will talk about methodological aspects, Latin American regionalism, especially about the economic and political economy perspectives, as well as comparative regionalism with the focus on political and legal perspectives. Finally, the future of Latin American regionalism will be discussed.
