The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation and the International European Union-Latin America and the Caribbean Foundation (EU-LAC Foundation) have signed a cooperation agreement today for the development of joint activities that promote the strengthening of relations between the EU, Latin America and the Caribbean.
The signing of this agreement by the director of Yuste Foundation, Juan Carlos Moreno, in Extremadura, and the executive director of the EU-LAC Foundation, Adrián Bonilla, at the Foundation's headquarters in Hamburg, has been carried out virtually due to the impossibility of doing so in person due to the health crisis caused by COVID-19.
This agreement is the result of the recognition, by both Foundations, of the value of the relations between the European Union, Latin America and the Caribbean and the importance of interaction, collaboration and cooperation to implement a wide range of activities that help to better fulfil the objectives of both institutions.
