The Nicaraguan Embassy, with the support of Nicaragua-Koordinationskreis Hamburg, will celebrate 150 years of the Prince of Castilian Letters, Rubén Darío, a Nicaraguan poet who inaugurated literary modernism in the late nineteenth century.
Dr. Esther Morales Cañadas will give a masterful recitation of the poetry of Ruben Darío, and the German journalist Rolf Becker will return to the universal Darío and his trip to Europe, specifically to the city of Hamburg.
The Executive Director of the EU-LAC Foundation, Paola Amadei, will participate in the opening ceremony together with the Ambassador of Nicaragua in Germany, Karla Luzette Beteta, and the Secretary of State from Hamburg Wolfgang Pollman.
The event will take place in the framework of the Lateinamerika Herbst (Festival Otoño Latinoamericano y Caribeño 2017)
