The London School of Economic and Social Science, in an effort to further engage with the Colombian peace process and its future implementation and reflect on the regional impacts of such enterprise, organises a talk with Mr. Sergio Jaramillo Caro (High Commissioner for Peace and main negotiator at the Havana Peace Negotiations between the FARC-EP and the Colombian Government). Mr Jaramillo Caro will give a first-hand account of the current condition and future prospects of the peace negotiations and emphasise the need to implement a comprehensive model of territorial peace that combines peace building and transitional justice. He will also reflect on the dilemmas of peacemaking and peace building in the Colombian context.
