This event is organised in the framework of the strategic partnership between the EU-LAC Foundation and the Institut des Amériques, together with the French Institute for Andean Studies and the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development. The symposium aims to promote the dialogue on climate challenges prior to the UN Conference on Climate Change 2015 (also known as “Paris 2015”).
The main goals are: to contribute to the discussion on the adoption of an international agreement that will supply a framework toward resilient economies and to provide elements to the “Agenda for Solutions” promoted by France. It also expects to mobilise the stakeholders into the creation of concrete initiatives, encourage the exchange of experiences regarding good practises and low carbon solutions, contribute to the resilience of economies and stimulate the conception of structural projects.
