The Embassy of Guatemala in Berlin and the Honorary Consulate of Guatemala in Hamburg organise a Cinema Forum which includes the projection of the documentary “Abrazos” as part of the “Lateinamerika Herbst 2017” .
The documentary “Abrazos” narrates the traverse of a group of Guatemal-American who travel from Minnesota to Guatemala in order to get acquainted with their grandparents for the very first time. This constitutes an authentic situation, which represents the reality of thousands of Central American families who were forced to abandon their countries.
The documentary is going to be projected in Spanish with English subtitles.
After the projection it will take place a degustation of Guatemala products.
