Bolivia ratifies the Agreement that establishes the EU-LAC Foundation as an International Organisation

Bolivia becomes the 27th Member to ratify the Agreement that transforms the EU-LAC Foundation into an International Organisation, thus the eleventh State in Latin America and the Caribbean to do so.

This ratification occurs when the Plurinational State of Bolivia holds the Pro-Tempore Presidency of CELAC and serves to underline its commitment in strengthening the dialogue between the European Union, Latin America and the Caribbean.

The EU-LAC Foundation was created in 2010 by a decision of the Heads of State and Governments of the 61 Member States of the European Union, Latin America and the Caribbean, and of the European Union itself. The Foundation is established in Hamburg, Germany, since 2011.
