Autonomous University of Asunción

The Autonomous University of Asunción (AUA), has about 5.000 students, these ones are distributed in four faculties: Faculty of Economic and management, Faculty of Science and Technology, Faculty of Law, Politics and Communication and the Faculty of Health Sciences.
There are also departments that work in coordination in order to respect all the academic quality standards, to mention a few: the Academic Directorate, the Financial Directorate, the University Computer Science Department, the International Relations Unit.
Particularly, the International Relations Unit coordinates the cooperation and internationalization policies of the AUA, which arise from the Institution’s Strategic Plan. These policies are related to: the promotion of academic mobility for students and teachers, the strengthening of regional and global integration links through the membership of networks or associations, the promotion of working and academic cooperation networks with foreign institutions and the building of University’s institutional visibility via cooperation arrangements.
