During the visit of Paola Amadei, EU-LAC Foundation’s Executive Director, to Antigua and Barbuda, The Honorable E. P. Chet Greene, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Immigration, announced that the Government of Antigua and Barbuda will be signing on the EU-LAC International Foundation Constitutive Agreement.
The EU-LAC Foundation was created in 2010 by a decision of the Heads of State and Governments of the 61 Members of the European Union, Latin America and the Caribbean, and of the European Union itself. Antigua & Barbuda is the fifty-ninth member to sign this Agreement, out of the 62 which are part of the Agreement. 23 of its Member States have already ratified the international Constitutive Agreement, whose entry into force is imminent.
The Foundation is established in Hamburg, Germany, since 2011.
