The AdaptAmericas Conference will be organised by Ihe inter- American Development Bank in order to debate Climate Change related issues.
Climate change is shifting the way institutions assess and manage risks. The need to adapt to a volatile climate and to build resilience to reduce vulnerability can bring opportunities for businesses and investors and can promote innovative partnerships between the public and private sectors.
The EU-LAC Foundation will support the organization of this event, in particular to promote the exchange of experiences between Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean in the field of sustainability and resilience of infrastructure in the face of climate change and natural disasters; and other sessions on how the public and private sectors can foster adaptation to climate change.
