Lima Chamber of Commerce is organizing its 8th International Summit on External Trade with the theme: “Seizing future markets: towards a new external trade system” on 22 October 2013. This event aims to identify trade patterns and trends in the new international context.
The 8th International External Trade Summit will be inaugurated by the President of the Republic, Ollanta Humala Tasso and the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Lima, Samuel Gleiser Katz. Amongst the panels of experts, Paul Krugman, 2008 Nobel Prize laureate in economics, will discuss “New world trade patterns: how Peru can make the most of them”, and the President of the EU-LAC Foundation, Benita Ferrero-Waldner, will deliver a lecture on the topic “European Union - Latin America: Paving the way for a commercial partnership in a new global economic context”.
