The 5th Summit of the Heads of State and Government of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) will be held on the 24- 25 January in Bavaro (Punta Cana), Dominican Republic.
The Heads of State and Government of the CELAC will adopt the Punta Cana Declaration and the Action Plan for 2017. Furthermore, the agenda includes the approval of 19 special agreements and the transfer of the pro tempore Presidency from the Dominican Republic to El Salvador.
